The racing tradition runs deep throughout the Pee Dee Region of South Carolina. The most notable racing attraction in South Carolina is Darlington Raceway, home to the track that’s “Too Tough to Tame.” Join in the excitement at all the Darlington Raceway events, which include the NASCAR Nationwide Series and Sprint Cup Southern 500 on Mother’s Day weekend; NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in March; and Darlington Historic Racing Festival in September.
