Darlington Car Hauler Parade April 9, 2014


This is a great family-friendly activity for race all fans before the big race.

The Darlington Car Hauler Parade presented by Nationwide is an exciting event on the Wednesday before the NASCAR Southern 500 races on the second weekend in April. The activities begin at the Florence Civic Center where the transporters line up in the afternoon for the 12-mile parade route to the track "Too Tough to Tame" via Darlington Square, where the Darlington RaceFest is held.

Throughout the afternoon, there are a live band, silent auction, great activities for young and adults, and crowds of people coming to pay tribute to the haulers that bring the race cars and equipment to the Darlington Raceway.
