The Darlington Car Hauler Parade is an exciting event on the Thursday before the NASCAR Southern 500 races on Mother's Day weekend. The activities begin at the Florence Civic Center where the transporters line up in the afternoon for the 12-mile parade route to the track "Too Tough to Tame" via Darlington Square.
Throughout the afternoon, there are a live band, silent auction, great activities for young and adults, and crowds of people coming to pay tribute to the haulers that bring the race cars and equipment to the Darlington Raceway.
